This is a very emotional post for me. Anyone who knows my family well knows that we LOVE the Eat-A-Burger. This is not an average love, we frequent the E-A-B weekly through out the year and Bi-Weekly through out the summer! Every Saturday we meet for lunch and every Tuesday we'd go straight from the pool after teaching lessons all morning for our 'Staff Meeting' - we never cover business, but calling it a 'staff meeting' makes it a tax rightoff :) You'd think that we must live close to and Eat-A-Burger, but no! We would drive 25 minutes each way to enjoy these babies!
You never eat the fries that came with your meal, you Always dump them out on to the tray and Dig In! We love this place! Sadly they closed their doors for the last time on Saturday Jan. 30th. Here we are enjoying our last meal. They plan to open a new place out in South Jordan at the District called Rumerz. Won't be open until April - - so I ask you what will we do for lunch on saturdays between now and then? My dad's suggestion: make PB and J's, drive to the Eat-A-Burger and eat them in the parking lot. 
Not sure I'll join in for that one. But seriously the Eat-A-Burger has been our favorite place for years, it was our last meal before sending siblings to the MTC, first meal when they got home, last meal for all of us before getting married, having kids, first place we took Blake out to, the list goes on and on. We honestly got choked up when we found out they were throwing in the towel and moving west! I cross my fingers that the food will be the same when the make the new place. Even Blake loved it there, and he's SO picky. There have been many days where I'll ask Blake what he wants for lunch and he'll say 'Fu Fries and a Mint'. We will miss you Fu Fries and mints! Rest In Peace E-A-B!

NOOOOOOOOOO!! Please tell me this is a bad joke. That is still one of the I-can't-miss places whenever I come back to Utah. And yes, I still miss the staff meetings. The new one better be as good, but it definitely won't be as close for me!!
Are you serious? Don't get me wrong I love they are coming to the District but why not do both?
I also have had some powerful experiences there in that tiny eatery. I weep inwardly.
